Recommender: Christina

Christina is a school counselor who still believes she has the coolest job in the world. She’s a proud mom of two and a steady presence for the people around her, whether that’s supporting students at school or cheering on her family at home.
Christina was one of the very first people to say yes to The Recommenders, making her our second Recommender ever, and she also holds the distinction of being the first person we’ve invited back for a second feature. Her continued support of this project means more than we can say.
When Christina first shared her favorites, her focus was on fitness and staying strong for her family. This time around, her recommendations reflect what she’s genuinely loving right now, practical, cozy, everyday favorites that make home and winter life easier and more enjoyable.
Outside of school, you’ll find Christina at the ballfield supporting her husband, who coaches college baseball, spending time at her kids’ activities, or soaking up quiet moments with her family. Every product she shares is something she personally uses and truly recommends.

Kids? Pets? Hardwood floors? This thing saves us so many steps and time! You can vacuum, mop, or both. You can use their solution, which I love, or make your own. Under 100 bucks?! This was the best gift I got myself last Christmas.

I’m a germaphobe mom and educator. This time of year I am constantly washing my hands, which over the years has led to dry, cracked hands. These are a lifesaver!

AirPods
Not to be dramatic, but these recently saved my life. I was in the gym the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so no one was there, and I put way too much weight on the bench press. My husband was all the way across the gym with his AirPods in, so he couldn’t even see me. I laid down on the bench and instead of waiting for him to come spot me, I went ahead and couldn’t get the weight off my chest. Not only was it embarrassing, but I couldn’t breathe and it bruised my ribs. There was no one around, so I said “Hey Siri” and was able to use my AirPods to call my husband, and he sprinted over to save me 🤣. These are also a lifesaver for moms who need to clean the house and want to listen to a book at the same time!
